Swedish from Day One – Svenska från dag ett
Angered folkhögskola together with Arabiska Bokstavscentret are providing the course Swedish from Day One – a course in everyday Swedish.

The course is free of costs for the participant.
You will join a group of about 20 participants who are meeting daytime, four times per week.
The purpose of this course is for you to learn the basics of the Swedish language to be able to communicate in everyday situations.You will learn more about the Swedish society via study visits and various activities.
Who can be a learner on our courses?

To be able to study Swedish from Day One you must be applying for asylum in Sweden *regardless of housing or have a residence permit and live in one of Migrationsverkets (the Migration Agency’s) accommodation facilities.

 People who are asylum seekers should have an LMA-card – a temporary document with a photo showing that the holder i seeking asylum in Sweden, issued by the Swedish Migration Agency (Migrationsverket).
 People with residence permit must have a residence card, issued by the Swedish Migration Agency (Migrationsverket) and also must be staying in one of the accomodation facilities operated by the Swedish Migration Agency.
